Geoff started his career looking for gold in Wales and Canada followed by a stint managing a gold mining fund in London It was as a fund manager that he developed a keen interest in the value of research to uncover value. He became Head of Research for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers looking for ways to make better use of investment research to help clients get better returns on their investments. Geoff bought into Oxford Abstracts in 2004. He loves being part of a small team that produces highly specialist but essential software used to further academic research around the world. He lives on the west coast of Scotland from where he manages the distributed network of Oxford Abstracts. When he's not working, he loves to be on or in the water, kayaking or swimming or just generally enjoying the great outdoors.
