New Features For June 2023 - Administrator & Attendee Amendments & New Ticket Details Page

Back in January, we launched a significant upgrade to our delegate registration, and we have been working behind the scenes to add even more features.

For both administrators of academic conferences and attendees to these events, we think you’ll enjoy what we have to show you.

For this new feature update, we proudly bring to you:

• Administrator Amendments - have more, easier control over ticket purchases/add-ons and refunds.

• Attendees have more flexibility to buy event add-ons at a later date after purchasing their tickets

• A brand new delegate registration Ticket Details Page

Admin Amendments for Delegate Registration

A significant new feature launched last week, administrators using Oxford Abstracts delegate registration for their academic conference can now make amendments to tickets through the attendee table.

For example, admins can now go into existing orders, add/remove tickets and add-ons, and then either request payment or issue a refund for the difference.

You’ll also be able to view which tickets have been paid/pending or refunded easily as they have been colour coded.

Attendee's Amendments for Delegate Registration

Another simple but effective feature we’ve introduced is allowing the attendee to purchase add-ons after they have purchased their tickets.

For example, if an attendee is unsure whether to purchase an optional add-on when purchasing their event ticket/s (such as a gala dinner ticket), they do not have to make the decision right away.

They can now purchase their event ticket and return later to purchase the add-on to their existing order should they wish to.

It’s simple and easy to do, with full ticket details of what they have already purchased to hand when they come back to make any amendments.

You’ve got your event scheduled, and you’ve started collecting submissions and reviewing them, so what’s next?

On this page, you can include the following important information about tickets and your event:

• Event dates

• Option to add videos and images

Think of it as the gateway to your event. It may be the first page attendees see, so providing them with an overview of the key information of your event is crucial and beneficial.
