New features for December - Auto-Assign Reviewers & Change Submission Owner

We round off the year with not one but TWO very exciting new features to Oxford Abstracts.

New features:

• You can automatically assign reviewers to submissions

• You’re now able to easily change the submission owner

Yes, we know, we think they’re pretty good new features too.

Both new features were suggested to us as part of our customer feedback, and it’s this feedback that helps us develop and improve our software to the needs of you, the user.

We love receiving your honest feedback and take on board all of your suggestions.

Auto-Assign Submissions to Reviewers

Our first new feature will mean the time spent on assigning submissions to reviewers is at a minimum, and is a feature we think you’ll really like - Auto-assigning submissions to reviewers!

How does it work?

Well you set the parameters, such as how many submissions are allocated to a reviewer and reduce the chance of a conflict of interest, click the button et voila, all the submissions are randomly assigned to your reviewers.

Don’t worry, you can edit this if you need to, and if you prefer to manually assign the submissions you can still do this if you wish.

Change Submission Owner

Second, we’ve now enabled admins to be able to change the submission owner, and you can also view the Owner Change Log to see who has made these changes and when.

It’s simple and easy to do and provides admins with another easy, clickable way of altering details.
